Recently I've purchased The Sims 1 Complete Collection and I got really upset when I realized tha EA is being so neglect with the most successfull game that became this franchise so big. I tried to register the game in my Origin Account, and as I imagined, the serial was not valid. So I started a chat in US Origin (I'm brazilian) and asked for help to register the game in my account.
In the begining I thought I would be successfull in this process, until the moment when the clerk said that the registration wouldn't be possible because the game is very old. Fnaf free download mac. So then, I started observing my game and I realized that it was produced in 2008. I notified the clerk about this, about Sims 2 also. He said that a post in the forum could convince (or not) the developers to provide The Sims 1 in Origin. He also offered me The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection (I already own this one), saying that it was better than TS1.

I'm a big fan of The Sims series and I am REALLY disapointed about the way EA treats this classic game that gave birth to everything we have today.:'(. The first sims game can be finicky even on Windows 7. In fact the base game can't be installed on windows 10 and is officially not compatible with anything past 98 according to my jewel case for it. It will still install on windows 7 and therefore probably 8. Windows 10, however, seems to have rolled in a lot of the changes that prevent legacy software that were originally in Vista.

The best tip is to NOT install it into a program files folder but instead C: TheSims or something.

EA has stopped making physical copies of The Sims, and as a result they are quite impossible to find. Your best bet would be to look for second-hand copies if you want to do it the legal way. However, because EA has stopped selling The Sims and is seemingly neglecting the game, I would recommend just downloading it from somewhere. It is certainly very charming graphics-wise, though it has very limited options for changing the resolution.
